Mischa barton was born the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. In the TV show The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She has also appeared as a character in The Sixth Sense a movie that is suspenseful. The O.C. Her TV series The O.C. In addition, she was a part of the popular TV series The O.C. along with Benjamin McKenzie who played her romantic interest. Ben McKenzie was her interest. Barton made her debut for her first appearance on TV in the role of Corvina Lang, who was a younger Corvina. The actress played the character in flashbacks on All My Children in 1994. She was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg, who had been playing Lily Benton Montgomery in the series. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes of the television show Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. Barton returned into the film business in 2001, starring as Katie Singer in Lost and Delirious. The story was based on Susan Swan's book The Wives of Bath. The film received mixed reviews. However, the performance of Barton along with her co-stars Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare received a lot of praise. Comaneci joined the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and ABC News named her one of the most important female athletes in the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci was married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April 1996. The couple has their son Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of the many business in gymnastics they co-own. Comaneci has also been involved with a wide range of charities, serving as one of both the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association board of directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In the years since, she is still a major supporter of numerous other charities in her native Romania. They include her involvement with the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
