Alessia Cara grew up in Toronto in Canada. She was born July 11, 1996, to parents of Italian origins. Her parents bought her a new guitar, which she used to further develop her passion for the music. In the year 2003, she turned 13 she started singing songs she loved through YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic method to demonstrate to the world that she possessed both talent and courage. Sweater Weather was her most popular album. A record label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her to write songs.
