At the age of 19, she released her debut single Here. It was a huge smash and garnered praise from both listeners and critics alike. The Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of 2015. The same year she launched her first album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It was also one of the five original songs. The track in question was unique because it was based on an interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans related to her journey through self-doubt and discovering how to love herself. Cara is known for including messages on the importance of mental health, kindness and love of self in her music. The music she sings is reflective of her own personal struggles in dealing with anxiety and depression. According to a Reuters Interview, her album was described as half tumultuous half perfected. Her growth was aided by therapy. She advises other people, if needed, to seek support. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on July 11, 1996, was a daughter of Italian parents of Italian descent. Her first guitar was purchased from her parents at the time she was 10 years old, which sparked the passion for music. Three years later at the age of 13 she began covering her favorite songs through YouTube one of the biggest media platforms to prove to the world she was talented and the determination to be a professional singer. Actually she covered one of her song Sweater Weather became the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose and record her own tracks.
