Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of sport's best athletes. Being a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one to win four gold medals at the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles was also the first person to win three world titles consecutively. Biles, along with her twins Adria as well as her brother Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents from Houston. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics when she was just 6. The coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an excursion. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Less than two years later she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles made headlines for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of effort she introduced in each event--vault bar, uneven bars, balance beam and ground exercises.
